MDF boards

The SWISS KRONO GROUP Group produces MDF boards for use in furniture and floors as well as diffuser panels for wood construction in three different factories. SWISS KRONO GROUP’s MDF (Medium Density Fibre) boards are made from wood fibres. They are all classified E1 and are made only from wood from sustainably managed forests.

MDF boards provide a smooth, even surface. The raw material used is mainly composed of softwood. The bonding of this range is done with a UF binding agent complying with the E1 (Lowest European Level) standard. MDF boards are generally sold coated with melamine paper from our collection.
